Celeb's on the Runway at Heart Truth's Red Dress Show

I thought for sure I was going to miss everything because I was in the wrong place and it was getting close to show time. Luckily @OhMyTy was on the phone to keep me calm and guide me in the right direction. Can't thank her enough! Not only did I make it their early, I had time to check my coat, take some pictures have a glass of wine and still be the first in line for the "priority standing" section. This is a marvelous accomplishment considering 15minutes later there was a mob of people behind me.

The Show was awesome!! All the ladies thoroughly enjoyed themselves all the way down the runway which made everyone in the audience feel the same. Lots of surprise faces on the runway atleast for me anyway.
Unfortunately my phone died as soon as I got their so ended up taking pictures with my regular camera and who knows where the cord is to download them right now...lol.

Here are all the gorgeous ladies that graced the runway:

Singer/Dancer Julianne Hough in Swarovski

Actress Eva Amurri in Chris Benz

Actress Linda Gray in Pamella Roland

Actress Alison Sweeney in Tadshi Shoji

Actress Archie Panjabi in J. Mendel

Actress Audrina Partridge in Badgley Mischka

Model Camila Alves in Kaufmanfranco

Actress Cat Deeley in Alberta Ferretti

TV Host Giuliana Rancic in Notte by Marchesa

Actress Dania Ramirez in Catherine Malandrino

Fashion Icon/Performer Dita Von Teese in Zac Posen

Actress Garcelle Beauvais in Monique LHuiller

Actress Denise Richards in Matthew Williamson

Actress Katrina Bowden in Oscar De La Renta

Rapper/Actress Eve in David Meister

Actress Taraji P. Henson in Naeem Khan

Boxer Laila Ali in A Pea In The Pod

Actress Suzanne Somers in Soltani

Singer Patti LaBelle in Zang Toi

Singer Natasha Bedingfield in Nicole Miller (who also sang her recent single "Strip Me")

Everyone after their final walk.

And we can't forget Emmy Award winning Journalist Ann Curry in Carmen Marc Valvo

Some of the dresses worn by celebrities in the show will be available to bid on at http://www.clothesoffourback.org/

Now was that an amazing runway or what!? II think my favorite is Camila Alves in Kaufmanfranco, I just wish I had the body to pull it off....lol. Which one is your fav?

Mercedes Benz Fashion Week F/W 2011 Schedule!!!

Its Official ...Fashion Week has started!!

And since I have the "Best BFF in the world" I will get to start fashion week off with a "heart" full of excitement.

Heart Truth Red Dress Collection is the kick off event for fashion week. This is by far the hottest ticket in town and if all goes well I will be reporting live from the red runway of red dressed A-list celebs. This annual event raises funds and awareness for the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute and has inspired celebrities like Melanie Griffith, Suzanne Somers, Denise Richards, Allison Sweeney, Jennifer Love Hewitt and Eve to strut their stuff on the runway this year.

This is going to be an amazing experience nothing could be greater for me than to actually work (aka makeup is my like) at this show....lol

Be sure to check it out on  CBSNEWS.COM/HEARTTRUTH on Wednesday, February 9 at 7:00 pm to view LIVE footage of the Red Dress Collection Fashion Show.

A trip to the MAC Wonder Woman Pop-up Store

Ok one more and then I'm really going to bed......;p;

So was been dying to get over to the M.A.C. Wonder Woman pop-up store ever since I read about its scheduled opening in Women Wear Daily. I missed the big grand opening but I did get to go last weekend. Ive have been so crazy I haven't had a chance to post about my exciting trip and appointment.

From the moment I walked in the store there was no doubt who the star was.

The makeup display was super cute(my new fav line).

Even the walls we decorated with mock comic covers.

Just another cool display

I wish I had gotten a bag but I will next trip.

This was the cover of the look book.

Of course this is the look I picked!

I purposely went with no makeup so I could maybe get an appointment. Figured they would be super busy but it was worth a try. I was really lucky I didn't have to walk around the rest of the day like this....lol

With just a few products...

Moises Ramirez really hooked me up. I felt like Lynda Carter's little sister when i left out of there....lol

As I left the store I turned around and took one last look. Feeling a little connection to my childhood and feeling like I could leap a tall building in a single bound....lol

Still in awe over the amazing job Moises did. But as soon as he said he was a painter I knew I was great hands.

I had to buy something...lol

The packaging is very well done.

This compact is my favorite out of all the items in the Wonder Woman collection. Only bad thing is there is no mirror :(

Gotta have a lip glass!

Everything is super sized!!

and the detail on the packaging was my favorite part.

Make sure you stop in the M.A.C. Store on 109 Spring Street between Mercer and Greene Street and make an appointment with the amazing Moises.
